Good article...lots of good points. However, there are two additional points that I feel should be considered. 1) What right does nine elitist hypocritical justices wearing black robes have to tell people in Georgia what to do with their lives? Should that be up the the state of Georgia and its people? This is a classic 10th amendment situation. The Federal government has too much power. If the 10th amendment is too quaint for folks...why bother having states? 2) As you pointed out, this is a moral issue...and really...what good is it to fight via legal and the law? We have this divisive society which we see right now. Seriously, if Christians are so opposed to abortion, why is it that over 1/2 of the women going to clinics for an abortion identify as Christian? Instead of protesting in front of clinics and attacking abortion doctors, why not minister to the hurting women in their congregations? Why not explain why a child is a gift from God no matter what. It is certainly easier to stand on a street with a placard...but what would Jesus do?
