The maps are already dated. I live in Nashville, and people are moving here from blue states by the busload every single day, which ramped up dramatically since Covid. I just sold my house in a very blue district for $100K over list in 36 hours.

The new people moving here won't change their voting or personal habits because where they were from was so terrible. They'll vote the same way, and seek to recreate familiar experiences in their new home with the idea that things will be better here because they'll be able to control the outcome because they think that the people here are nicer and dumber than they are.

I'm sorry, but Texas will need to be its own nation. We will accept nothing less! :)

I probably shouldn't remind you that they're trying to sneak into the SEC then...

> We have New Dixie, The Yankee Union, Communist Pacifica, and Cowboy Country, occasionally derogatorily referred to as “Greater Texas.”

Bitch, please. That's "Greater New Mexico", thank you very much. ;)

And I'm not sure it makes sense to stay at the state level when we're dividing things up. You end up with a lot of still extraordinarily unhappy people. Might make more sense at the county level.

The more serious reason for this being, I could see "Communist Pacifica" being allowed to have that very small rind where they actually *live*, but if it's postulated that this is happening in the wake of things actually having already gone "hot"? I do not imagine that the major Red interiors of those coastal states (nor NV, nor AZ) are going to put up with being handed off to that faction *with the explicit premise that the original US Constitution is no longer going to apply* when they have all the guns and make all the food. In fact, they might not even get to be *contiguous* because the people in what wants to be Jefferson are going to object.

And remember, this is already happening after enough folks have decided that it's "game on". Putting the pin back in the grenade after the spoon's flown doesn't accomplish much.

Hate the word “triggered” but you’re correct, the ACC is always the unwanted stepchild. I think this is mostly accurate but Maryland and Virgina are wildcards, for sure. Florida, also a wild card as we have seen over the years with elections, as well.
