November was a busy month by HWFO standards. Here’s a recap.

HWFOCon Update:
Plans have been in the works for a year to, at some point, throw a big HWFO reader campout on my land and have a weekend long pool party. The problem, it turns out, is trying to build a pool during the post lockdown inflationary demand spike. My contractor went out of business in July and I’ve been coordinating the construction myself ever since. Heater may go in today. Fingers crossed. I’m going to throw a new years eve party as a test run, to which you all are not invited unless you’re a girl, but if things are in order by the end of the year then expect the first and possibly only ever HWFOCon to transpire in the spring.

Subscription
This publication is and will always remain free to read, and any money earned through Substack subscriptions or Patreon will be dutifully spent on the author’s alcohol fund. Anyone who contributes to said alcohol fund will gain access to our private Slack server to discuss HWFO topics with other HWFO readers (and me) outside the public eye. Around 170 people are yammering away in there right now, and some of the article topics are born from these discussions. I’ll post an updated access link in a few days, as subscriber only content. If you’re a Patreon supporter you can gain access too, just email me.
